    • Richard III By William Shakespeare Richard, Duke of Gloucester. Boris Johnson. Ambitious, manipulative, ruthless men, scheming to reach the height of power. This retelling of one of Shakespeare’s most popular history plays does away with duels, grandly dressed nobles and pitched battles, taking us instead to the current seat of power in the United Kingdom: Westminster.  The green benches and corridors buzz with betrayal, deception and plots as our protagonist tries to clear the obstacles blocking his route to the ultimate prize – and then to cling desperately to his position. Combining a modern political setting with innovative technical elements and Shakespeare’s timeless prose, this fresh production will tell the old story of Richard III in a new way, connecting with those seeing the story for the first time and delighting abiding fans.  9-18 May 2024 7.30pm evenings, 2.30pm Saturday matinees No show on Sunday 12 May Bridewell Theatre Bride Lane Off Fleet Street London EC4Y 8EQ Tickets from £12.50 Box office: sedos.co.uk
    • Just So Music by George Stiles Lyrics by Anthony Drewe Inspired by the stories of Rudyard Kipling Five of Rudyard Kipling’s Just So Stories come together into a wondrous tale of personal courage, individuality and friendship. Set to an eclectic, upbeat score, Kipling’s famous tales are woven with wit and imagination into a song-filled journey through the jungle. Join us on this journey with the young, effervescent and inquisitive Elephant’s Child and the sassy, sarcastic and flightless Kolokolo Bird as they set out to save their friends and family from the wicked Pau Amma who is threatening their homeland. On our journey through this magical tale, we’ll meet a wide array of fun loving characters, from a Kangaroo who is shocked to see the rate at which his legs have grown, to a Parsee Man who lives seemingly alone with his seemingly inanimate stove… Let the Eldest Magician take you on this wondrous tale through lush jungles, dusty savannahs and the ever looming great, grey and greasy Limpopo River in Just So this March. 5-9 March 2024 7.30pm evenings, 2.30pm Saturday matinee Bridewell Theatre Bride Lane Off Fleet Street London EC4Y 8EQ Tickets from £14 Box office: sedos.co.uk   JS Square words.tif

    • Titanic: The Musical Story and Book by Peter Stone Music and Lyrics by Maury Yeston Epic and yet intimate, Titanic The Musical captures the triumph and tragedy of the hopeful passengers on the ill-fated Ship of Dreams In the final hours of 14 April 1912 the RMS Titanic, on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York, collided with an iceberg and sank. As “the unsinkable ship” went down, 1517 men, women and children lost their lives. Based on real people, Titanic The Musical is a stunning and heart-breaking production focusing on the dreams and aspirations of the passengers, who boarded to take the trip of their lives, unaware that for many it would be their last journey. The Third Class immigrants dream of a better life in America, the Second Class imagine they too can join the lifestyles of the rich and famous, while the millionaire Barons of the First Class anticipate legacies lasting forever. The original Broadway production won five Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book. 23 November-2 December 2023 7.30pm plus 2.30pm Saturday matinees No show on Sunday 26 November Bridewell Theatre, Bride Lane, London EC4Y 8EQ Tickets from £11.50 Box office: https://www.sedos.co.uk
    • We're considering touring our most recent production - a new musical but we find ourselves in the grey area between amateur and professional and I have questions I'd like to ask of anyone that has run a tour/toured as an amateur group
