The Rise And Fall of Little Voice

This event repeats every day until 15/09/17

Event details

CADOS present a musical romantic comedy about Laura, a girl who locks herself in her bedroom listening to her late father’s record collection. Soon, she is able to mimic the famous divas Judy Garland, Shirley Bassey, Dusty Springfield and more.

Her domineering mother sees Laura as a way of escaping their small Northern town for a glamourous showbiz life and enlists the help of small-time club agent Ray. They both see the girl as a ticket to the big time, but Laura just wants to be loved.

Chorley writer Jim Cartwright has crafted a modern fairytale of love and hope as Little Voice finally finds a voice of her own.

Tickets Mon-Wed £8, Thurs-Sat £10 from Malcolm's Musicland 01257 264362 or www.chorleytheatre.com
