    Improvements to News

Amdram.net is proud to announce two key improvements:- Amdram.net Frontpage Exposure! I'm going to explain this new improvement by explaining the steps you need to follow to be able to do this for yourself:- Login to Amdram.net - Click here - If you're not already a member then you can signup here, it's quick easy and of course completely FREE! Select from the navigation News > Add News Choose a category - All this does is help keep the news articles organised - Don't worry if you're not sure which one, it can always be changed later :) Write a Title, Teaser Paragraph and Body Choose an Image.... This is the new and important bit, we need you to choose an JPG or PNG image that is 1400 pixels wide and 728 pixels high (these are the optimal settings for our frontpage carousel) If you choose an image that isn't 1400 pixels by 728 pixels then your image basically won't look as good as you originally intended - Let us know how you go on, please feel free to contact us if you need any help! Important note, if you want to include any images, files etc into the body of your article then this is done as part of the "Body", see below:- Amdram.net News Page We've made dramatic changes to the look and feel of the news page and we think it looks a lot better! - Please do let us know your thoughts!
  5. Amdram.net is here with the sole purpose to promote Amdram, Amateur Theatre and Amateur Dramatics. We would be interested in hearing your feedback around how we can help more! Thoughts Please!

Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but in doing so, blows her cover. Soon, the gang is giving chase only to find them up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood. The Drowsy Chaperone

Winner of five Tony Awards including Best Book of Musical and Best Original Score, The Drowsy Chaperone bursts to life on the Bridewell Theatre stage this May. A Man sits at home, and looks for a cure for his “non-specific sadness”. He turns to his record collection and selects a little-known recording from the glory days of Broadway, “The Drowsy Chaperone”. As the record plays, we are transported into the world of a 1920s musical where there are gangsters, mistaken identities and a wedding that may or may not happen. While the musical comes to life around him, we not only learn more about the characters of the farcical production, but more about The Man and how he came to be sitting alone, feeling blue. Both a riot of musical silliness, and a commentary on the transformative powers of story-telling, this short show will appeal to the theatre geek in all of us. Bridewell Theatre Bride Lane, Fleet Street London EC4Y 8EQ 3-13 May 2017
Evenings at 7.30pm, Saturday matinees at 2.30pm No show on Sunday or Monday (amdram calendar will not accept that info!)
