OH YES IT IS! GDS PRODUCTIONS’ANNUAL PANTOMIME IS BACK GDS PRODUCTIONS PROUDLY PRESENT ‘JACK AND THE BEANSTALK’ FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT AT ITS BEST Following the great success of our sell-out show The Wizard of OZ and critically acclaimed Jekyll and Hyde, GDS Productions brings you Jack and the Beanstalk. With all the elements of a traditional panto including lively music, costumes and much more. About the show: The script for this production of "Jack and the Beanstalk", written by renowned panto author Alan P Frayn and directed by Peter Bailey, is a hilarious take on the well known fairy story featuring a host of colourful characters to amuse both the cast and audience alike. There's the gregarious Dame Dotty Dimple, her brave and bright son Jack, his daft brother Simple Simon and their cow Buttermilk. Plus a royal family comprised of dithering King Hubert, Queen Hyacinth, their lovely daughter Princess Primrose and their slow equerry Humphrey. They all live in fear of the giant Buster Gut-bucket, who is assisted by the wicked witch Picalilli, his henchman Rancid the Ratman and a pair of bungling bailiffs Snatchet & Scarper. Battling the forces of evil and helping the villages is the good fairy Sugardust, plus a chorus of singers and dancers And then, of course, there's the magic beans which grown into a giant beanstalk leading up to the giants castle in the sky! The show promises song and laughter, mischief and mayhem, and fun for all the family. The pantomime will be performed during February Half-Term(Thursday 20th- Saturday-22nd) with a matinee each day at 2pm so that the younger ones can bring mum and dad along, as well as an evening performance at 7pm on Friday and Saturday, for a fun filled evening. GDS Productions have pulled out all the stops to ensure this production delivers a memorable 'laugh a minute' show you can boo, his and cheer to at your heart’s content. The pantomime features many of our experienced actors from recent successful productions such as Jekyll and Hyde, Treasure Island and the Sound of Music, and we are also delighted to welcome a cast of extremely talented enthusiastic members(and a dancing cow!!) to make this show one you will not forget in a hurry. Don't miss the opportunity to see us in action during the February half term! Fee, Fi, Foe, Fum, it's going to be a lot of panto fun.
