  1. I am new to amdram theatre and dont know the correct terminology. I live in a small village and have been asked as a builder/joiner to build a stage front/curtain opening on an existing stage. The hall is aprox 9 metres wide with a stage 4.2 metres wide in the centre of the halls width and projecting 3.6 metres from the end wall, the stage is raised .75 metres off the floor, the stage has no front wall, curtain or curtain opening gear just the bare stage. I have no problems with construction it is design proportions I am having problems with eg. height of front opening to be in proportion to a 4.2 metre wide stage. I would be grateful for any advice or just to point me in the right direction.
